BRIEFING OF MANUFACTURER PRICE SURVEY (SHP) AND RURAL PRICE SURVEY (SHPED) OFFICERS 2024

Hi #sahabatdata, Lahat Regency BPS has carried out the 2024 Producer Price Survey (SHP) and Rural Price Survey (SHPED) Officer Briefing. The SHP officer briefing was held in a hybrid manner on January 8-9 2024, while the SHPED officer briefing was held on January 16 2024 at the Lahat Regency BPS office. This briefing was attended by PPL, PML, and data entry officers from each survey. The briefing was guided by Etika Suryandari, S.Si., M.T. who is the Coordinator of the Price Statistics Team.

SHP is carried out every month and aims to provide complete and continuous producer price data for calculating the Producer Price Index (PPI). This year, Lahat Regency received a sample of coal mining companies.

SHPED is also carried out regularly every month in 10 sub-districts in Lahat Regency. Monitoring the development of prices of goods and services from the production and consumption side illustrates the phenomenon of rising and falling commodity prices that occur in rural areas and is used to calculate Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP).

This briefing activity is a means to increase officers' understanding, so that the quality of SHP and SHPED data, especially in Lahat Regency, becomes increasingly high quality.
