Inflation December 2024 Year on Year (yoy) South Sumatra Province Is 1.20 Percent

Abstract

In December 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in South Sumatra Province will be 1.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.01. The highest inflation occurred in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency at 1.48 percent with a CPI of 108.80 and the lowest occurred in Muara Enim Regency at 0.74 percent with a CPI of 109.08
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.49 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.61 percent; health group by 1.81 percent; transportation group by 1.35 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.27 percent; education group by 1.87 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.52 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 8.09 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: clothing and footwear group by 0.48 percent; the equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group was 0.67 percent and the information, communication and financial services group was 0.37 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for South Sumatra Province in December 2024 is 0.50 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 1.20 percent
