Inflation November 2024 Year on Year (yoy) South Sumatra Province Is 0.73 Percent

Abstract

In November 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in South Sumatra Province will be 0.73 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.48. The highest inflation occurred in Palembang City at 0.95 percent with a CPI of 105.89 and the lowest occurred in Muara Enim Regency at 0.08 percent with a CPI of 108.43

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.68 percent; health group at 1.78 percent; transportation group by 1.60 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.55 percent; education group by 1.87 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.50 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 8.69 percent.  Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.21 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.17 percent;  the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group was 0.64 percent and the information, communication and financial services group was 0.37 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for South Sumatra Province in November 2024 is 0.58 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.70 percent
