SUPERVISION OF RICE TILES SURVEY FROM BPS SOUTH SUMATRA PROVINCE

Hello #SahabatData, on Tuesday (16/7), BPS South Sumatra Province, represented by Mrs. Septi Elly Mulyana M.App.Ec and Mrs. Erawati S.Si, M.Si. supervised the data collection for the Rice Tiles Survey in Lahat Regency, specifically Tanjung Aur Kikim Tengah Village and Payo Village, West Merapi District, this activity was also attended by representatives of the Food Crops, Horticultural and Livestock Service, Mr. A Firdaus, SP., MMA. Head of Food Crops and Horticulture, Lahat Regency.

One effort to collect productivity data in the agricultural sector, especially food crops, is through the Ubinan Survey. This survey is a routine BPS activity carried out to collect data on food crop productivity, especially rice and secondary crops. Where BPS Lahat Regency in subround II in 2024, obtained a sample of 138 rice plots which were integrated with the Area Sample Frame in Lahat Regency.

With the supervision of the Ubinan Survey, it is hoped that the quality of rice productivity data in South Sumatra province will further improve, especially in Lahat Regency, so that rice productivity calculations can see national rice production figures accurately and on time.
