KSA RICE ACTIVITIES JANUARY 2024

 Hi #SahabatData, Integrated Food Crop Statistics data collection using the Area Sample Frame (KSA) method for rice and corn commodities is carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) routinely on the last 7 days of each month. KSA activities are spread across all sub-districts in Lahat Regency (24 sub-districts). For rice commodities, there are 70 segments consisting of 630 sub-segments and involving 14 PCL officers and 10 PML officers.

 Data collection in the field already uses Android-based application technology. The aim of this activity is to calculate the harvest area and estimate the harvest area for the next 3 months. Did #SahabatData know that based on the results of the 2023 Agricultural Census, rice is the third largest commodity after coffee and rubber with a total of 16,895 individual agricultural business units (UTP).
