THE INITIAL STAGE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 2024 SUSENAS - SERUTI FIELD HAS BEGUN

Hello #SahabatData, after the preparation phase closed with the implementation of officer training on January 31 2024, SUSENAS-SERUTI activities continued with updating the Census Block (BS) load as well as collecting Price Range (RH) data and commodity unit conversions. The BS load update is carried out on the 1st to the 1st. February 10 2024, continued with RH data collection and commodity unit conversion which was carried out on the 11th s.d. February 16 2024. Both activities were carried out at 70 BS spread across 24 sub-districts by field officers.

Updating the BS content is an important stage in the implementation of SUSENAS-SERUTI because it is related to the population size and selected samples that will be used in field enumeration activities. In this case, the officers were provided with several instruments in the form of a Census Block Area Map (WB Map), a household update list document (VSEN24.P) and of course a letter of assignment for field officers. The field officers succeeded in completing the BS content update on time.

Collecting RH data and converting commodity units is also an important part of the pre-field enumeration stage. This activity will produce a Lahat Regency RH which will serve as a guide for field officers in carrying out household enumeration later. In particular, this RH data will be used to obtain sample household expenditure data. RH data collection officers are provided with 3 documents, namely the RH document, the commodity unit conversion document and of course the assignment letter. The officers succeeded in completing this activity on time.

With the completion of these two activities, it is hoped that it will be able to support the SUSENAS-SERUTI enumeration activities which will be carried out from 19 February to 9 March 2024 and produce SUSENAS-SERUTI data whose quality is maintained.
