Abstract

Data and information are needed in order to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that they can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions is needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and job opportunities is needed to determine how far the achievement of development outcomes reaches all levels of society. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is designed to produce social data. economy of the population in the sectors of education, health, housing, crime, socio-culture, travel, and public perceptions of household welfare. . This publication is presented in the form of percentage figures disaggregated by district and area of residence so that data users can find out the differences in welfare levels between regions. A number of data are also differentiated according to sex to meet the needs of gender gap analysis. With the publication of this book, it is hoped that the needs for statistical data on the welfare of the people are largely fulfilled.
