Abstract

During January 2022, there were no foreign tourists visiting Sumatra Selatan through the entrance to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (SMB) II Palembang.

The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in January 2022 was 49.94 percent, a decrease of 7.96 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 57.90 percent. On the other hand, when compared to the same period in 2021, the TPK in January 2022 increased by 4.09 points.

The highest ROR in January 2022 was for 5-star hotels, which was 72.97 percent and the lowest was for 1-star hotels, which was 26.43 percent.

The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in January 2022 reached 1.33 days, a decrease of 0.16 points compared to December 2021 which was recorded at 1.49 days.

The average length of stay of foreign guests in January 2022 is higher than the average length of stay of Indonesian guests.
