Economy of South Sumatra Province in Quarter III-2021 Grows by 2.46 Percent

Abstract

The economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2021 grew by 2.46 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Mining and Quarrying Business Field experienced the highest growth of 5.49 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of Expenditures, the Overseas Export Component achieved an increase of 9.30 percent.

The economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2021 grew by 3.93 (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field experienced the highest growth of 8.29 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Overseas Export Component, which was 32.13 percent.
