Abstract

The export value of South Sumatra in January 2021 reached US $ 393.98
million, an increase of 0.90 percent compared to December 2020.
Likewise, compared to January 2020, it increased by 12.99 percent.

Non-oil and gas exports in January 2021 reached US $ 387.12 million, up
3.06 percent compared to December 2020, likewise when compared to
non-oil and gas exports in January 2020, up 18.11 percent. Meanwhile,
oil and gas exports in January 2021 reached US $ 6.86 million, down
53.70 percent compared to December 2020, likewise when compared to
January 2020 oil and gas exports, a decrease of 67.21 percent.

The largest export in January 2021 was to China at US $ 163.66 million,
followed by the United States at US $ 39.13 million and Japan at US $
26.91 million, with the contribution of the three reaching 58.30 percent
of total exports for the period of January 2021.
• The import
value of South Sumatra in January 2021 reached US $ 103.17 million, an
increase of 13.69 percent compared to December 2020. Likewise, compared
to January 2020, it increased by 88.38 percent.
• Non-oil and gas
imports in January 2021 reached US $ 102.22 million, up 15.37 percent
compared to December 2020, likewise when compared to non-oil and gas
imports in January 2020, up 99.64 percent. Meanwhile, oil and gas
imports in January 2021 reached US $ 953.22 thousand, down 55.70 percent
compared to December 2020, likewise when compared to oil and gas
imports in January 2020, down 73.32 percent.
• The largest import
in January 2021 was to China amounting to US $ 84.98 million, followed
by Russia US $ 2.80 million and Canada US $ 2.56 million, with the three
contributions reaching 87.56 percent of the total imports for the
period January 2021
