2024 EPSS PROVINCIAL PLENARY SOUTH SUMATERA PROVINCE

Hello #SahabatData, on August 12-13, 2024, the Head of BPS Lahat Regency, Muhammad Dedy, S.ST, M.Si. together with the Agency Assessment Team (TPB) attended the Provincial Plenary of the Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation (EPSS) of South Sumatra Province at Favehotel, Palembang. The event was officially opened by the Deputy for Production Statistics of the Central Statistics Agency, M. Habibullah, S.Si., M.Si.

This provincial plenary was held in order to harmonize the results of the EPSS assessment before the determination of the Statistical Development Index (IPS) value by BPS RI. This activity is expected to increase the objectivity of the assessment, align the perception of the assessment, and explain the extreme changes that occur at the EPSS assessment stages, as well as collect input for continuous improvement of EPSS.

As a final series of the plenary, the signing of the Minutes of Meeting containing the points of agreement in the provincial plenary activities was carried out, to be submitted to the BPS RI EPSS Implementation Team via the Simbatik portal.

Head of BPS South Sumatra Province, Moh. Wahyu Yulianto, S.Si., S.ST, M.Si. said that in carrying out sectoral statistical development in each work area, it is necessary to continue to build synergy and collaboration with related OPDs so that the IPS value is expected to continue to increase.
