WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY

Hello #SahabatData, March 24 2024 is a global campaign to commemorate World Tuberculosis (TB) Day. The date marks the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced that he had discovered the bacteria that causes tuberculosis, opening the way to a diagnosis and cure for this disease.

TB is a disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis which generally attacks the lungs, but can also attack several parts of the body such as the kidneys, spine and brain.

The global theme raised in commemorating HTBS 2024 is "Yes! We Can End TB" and the theme chosen by Indonesia is "Let's End TB Together, Indonesia Can!". The campaign aims to end TB by 2030 and achieve sustainable development goals.

Come on #Sahabatdata, let's end TB in Indonesia. Amen.
