INTERNATIONAL WATER DAY

Hello #Data Friends. World Water Day is celebrated every March 22 as an effort to overcome the global water crisis. This warning aims to educate the public about the importance of clean water and provide assistance to people who really need water.

The theme of World Water Day 2024 is 'Water for Peace' or 'Using Water for Peace'. The main message to be conveyed at this commemoration is that water can be a tool for peace when communities and states work together to utilize this precious shared resource, water can also trigger and exacerbate conflict when access is denied and use is shared unfairly and water can bring we are out of the crisis. We can foster harmony between people and countries by uniting around fair and sustainable water use - from UN conventions at the international level, to action at the local level.

Based on data from PDAM Tirta Lematang, Lahat Regency, which has 7,442 customers in 2023, the amount of water distributed in Lahat Regency will be 1,541,185 cubic meters.
