DEVELOPMENT OF SECTORAL STATISTICS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF FOOD CROPS, HORTICULTURE, AND LIVESTOCK

Through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Data Indonesia (SDI), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lahat Regency is conducting sectoral statistics development for the relevant Regional Agencies (OPD) in Lahat Regency. On Monday (5/2), sectoral statistics development was carried out at the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture, and Livestock of Lahat Regency.

The statistics development was opened by the Head of Food Crops and Horticulture Division, Mr. Ahmad Firdaus, SP., MMA, and attended by the Head of BPPT and Agricultural Extension Officers in Lahat Regency. Serving as speakers from the BPS of Lahat Regency were the Head of Sectoral Statistics Team, Mr. Nur Yanuar, S.ST, and the Head of Production Statistics Team, Mr. Roy Benson Raja Adat Manurung, S.Si.

This activity aims to strengthen sectoral statistics in realizing unified data for Lahat Regency. The statistical data generated by all involved in statistical activities must be accurate, up-to-date, integrated, accountable, easily accessible, and shareable among Central and Regional Agencies. This ensures that the data resulting from statistical activities can be used for national development planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
