SAI Reconciliation and Preparation of Financial Statements for 2023

On January 18, 2024, BPS South Sumatra Province carried out Agency Accounting System Reconciliation (SAI) activities and Preparation of Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2024 for BPS Provincial and District/City BPS Work Units in South Sumatra Province. This activity is one of the efforts of BPS South Sumatra Province to improve the culture of administrative order in all work units.

In addition, this SAI reconciliation activity is also a mandate from the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 213 / PMK.05 / 2013 concerning the Central Government Financial Accounting and Reporting System (SAPP) stipulates that in the context of preparing and submitting accountability reports on the implementation of the State Budget in the form of Central Government Financial Statements (LKPP). Where, reconciliation can minimize the occurrence of recording differences that have an impact on the validity and accuracy of the data presented. In addition, if there is a discrepancy in data, reconciliation can detect and find out the causes of the discrepancy.

The SAI Reconciliation and Financial Statement Preparation for Fiscal Year 2023 was attended by the person in charge of financial statements at BPS South Sumatra Province and approximately 60 participants from BPS Districts / Municipalities in South Sumatra Province.Through this activity, Mr. Taupiq Hidayat Nr Ir. M.M. as Head of the General Section of BPS South Sumatra Province, in his speech said that this reconciliation activity is in order to produce accountable financial statements.
