SAKIP Preparation Meeting and Discussion of Lahat Poverty Alleviation Priority Programs

Today, Thursday (10/8) BPS Lahat Regency took part in a coordination meeting with the Lahat Regional Government regarding the preparation of SAKIP and discussion of priority programs for poverty alleviation.

The Regional Government of Lahat Regency was attended directly by the Regional Secretary, Assistant III, Head of Bappeda, and Head of the relevant OPD Service. From BPS Lahat Regency represented by Mr. Agus Arliansyah, S.E. (Young Expert Statistics) and Mr. Imam Abdul Hafizh, S.Tr.Stat. (First Expert Statistic)

This meeting discussed materials for preparing the SAKIP report, assessment techniques, and thematic RB themes on poverty alleviation.

BPS Kabupaten Lahat stated that the calculation of poverty is based on the concept of ability to meet basic needs (basic needs approach) published by the World Bank.

The poverty alleviation strategy developed by the Lahat District Government includes reducing the expenditure burden of the poor, increasing the welfare and income of the poor, ensuring the sustainability of macro and micro businesses, and integrating poverty alleviation work programs.

The results of the meeting obtained were that the current OPD work program and future work program plans must refer to the four poverty alleviation strategies.
